Welcome!
I am a freelance health journalist and editor with an interest in uncovering solutions to public health challenges. I report on maternal and reproductive health, infectious diseases, environmental health, social drivers of health, and the health care workforce.
I previously worked as a technical writer for a global health NGO and a copy editor at the Austin American-Statesman and Springfield (Ill.) State Journal-Register. I received my Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and my Master of Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I’m fortunate to call Chapel Hill my home.
